Why isn’t my BTA opening like it used too?

My BTA hasn’t opened like it used too in a few days it comes out halfway but not completely? Maybe change of flow patterns or something?
It used to be completely open and out all the time now it kind of just slightly comes out?
Any advice?

Nitrate is high but any swings or changes to ANYTHING in the tank?

I did have a dino outbreak slowly gaining control maybe that? Or when I clean the tank the powerhead maybe not be back in the exact spot with exact water flow? Other than that nothing
