Hey everyone , yesterday all i did was clean my tank glass , and this morning i have very cloudy water , my tank has been running for about a year now and not once has this happened . any suggestions thanks
Why so cloudy overnight ?

Silly suggestion. Wash the exterior of the glass to remove salt residue, I can see what looks like exterior stains. Cloudy water can be due to high pH or bacterial blooms, or as suggested above, snizz.Hey everyone , yesterday all i did was clean my tank glass , and this morning i have very cloudy water , my tank has been running for about a year now and not once has this happened . any suggestions thanks

i tank light just turned on, yesterday water was crystal clear cleaned inside and out woke up this morning and it loooked like that, no water change was done . i have about 8 snails all have been on top of each other lately
Wait a while after the lights turn on and see how the corals look. If the snails are reproducing the corals will love it. You’ll probably have fantastic polyp extension.
If the corals look ticked.. you may have a bacteria issue.

I'd be adding aeration in case it's a bacterial bloom. Why is there a surface film on the water?

i have aeration in the back next to the wave maker so it pushes it around
The surface film may inhibit oxygenation. This probably isn't the reason your corals are miserable however. How do you control temperature?

Oxygen level goes down during a bacteria bloom, your fish are swimming right up at the water surface for more oxygen. You should add an airstone during the bacteria bloom to help with oxygen, but regardless there really should be good agitation on the water surface, this helps with gas exchange and helps oxygenate the water. A flat surface like that is not good, look at all the dust collecting on the surface, cutting the oxygen exchange. I would another 1 or 2 powerheads to the tank, larger and stronger than what you have there, put the powerheads a few inches below the surface and aim them up at the surface. That powerhead looks small for that size tank, its really important to get more water movement.

noted ! i will move my outflow a little higher towards the surface , i'll move that wave maker for now to hit the surface . i was thinking about buying a nero 5 now i am 100% going to buy it . will update in a few days , thank you everyone highly appreciated

Could be a few causes.
1) bacteria bloom. If you are running uv usually this is taking care of.
2) snails spawning. Especially if you had your flow off or down before , they like to spawn in lower flow.
3) over dosing nopox - caused bacteria bloom. - nopox use overdose can cause you cloudiness and snotty looking bacteria bloom.
3) an rbta (if you have one) may have fully or partially hit with the flow. Immediate water change is needed in this case.
4) test your 5 most important parameters. If they are in line, likely it’s just a bacteria bloom and will go away.
If you don’t have a uv sterilizer, you will benefit from the addition of an appropriate uv sterilizer for your system size.
