Wierd poop/gunk/guts on tang belly

Suddenly noticed weird junk on my purple tangs belly. Wasn't there as little as a few hours ago.

Behavior appears to be normal. No change in swimming and ate normal when I tested with a small amount of food.

Looks like a huge, extra stringy poop but have never seen it like this before.

Is the tang eating like normal? Could you try to get a clearer picture?

The photo is a bit out of focus. I’ve seen similar issues to fish fed chaetomorpha, as well as fish that nibbled on a filter or algae pad. If it is those issues, it should pass on its own (although I have caught fish up and carefully removed it by hand.
