I’m having trouble connecting to brand new doser I don’t understand I bout a $30 Geeni power strip connected to my I phone in about 5 minutes why is this so complicated

Oh man I really hope I’m able to return this thing I was under the impression it was WiFi smartphone compatible to me that means it should connect to my WiFi and then I can use the app to adjust dosing who the hell has time for this crap ugh
400$ wasted if I can’t return it

@MattL22 - if you need help to know what IP to assign to it if your doing static let me know if how to DHCP. I was thinking about doing another video specific on how to know what IP address to assign if you do static and how to do the same thing if you do DHCP.

Hi ditto I got to the very end but couldn’t get back to see which IP address doser was assigned to so tried to start over and now ghl network not showing up ?

If u could explain static IP address please obviously if power goes out don’t wanna have to re set up

I was just gonna use whatever ip it assigned but didn’t write it down and couldn’t reconnect doser so I figured I’d start over I removed doser tried to re start but ghl not showing up under my WiFi now

If you left it as DHCP and forgot to change it to static IP, And put the the wireless network name and password then it probably joined your home network and obtain the IP address from your router.

Do you know how to look inside your router to see what IP address was assigned?

I can provide some instructions on how to find the IP let me know.

Depending on the steps the hotspot will turn down.

Let me default mine and do the steps for dhcp.

Just go to GHL connect app and add the doser based on the IP address assigned to it by the router

If you already added the device to GHL connect app then hit the gear and change it to the IP address assigned to it by your router

Ok went to windows start button and typed in cmd
I see where I obtained a lease but not sure if anything here is the icp address

If you have a Windows Computer, you could install the GHL Desktop Software and connect to the doser USB also if you want to see the IP Address.

What are you trying to find the Doser Ip address that may have been assigned.

I was just looking for simplest way to be able to use doser through I phone

I have my sons acer computer out lol he let me borrow it
So I think correct me if I’m wrong because I’m a computer dunce that i somehow connected my doser to my internet but didn’t input IP address to connect to it via I phone??

What is best corse of action I’m so clueless ....

Ok, if you on your Windows PC, you can use the USB cable and connect to the Doser directly and use the GHL Desktop Software which is located here:
