Love this tank.

Great thread name.

Have this tank with same light. You did a great job of taking the tank in a different direction despite the intro of pest, you are a lot braver than me.

Thanks. Fine line between brave and dumb, but think I would do it the same way again.

I had to move for a new job. I tore the tank down put the live rock in a tote with a little tank water, individually bagged the coral, fish and inverts, filled 4 5 gallon buckets with tank water, and drove the whole shebang to the new apt.

Total of a 23 hr drive. Took most of the coral, fish and inverts out of the bags and put them in a 20 high with a powerhead and a heater and added a powerhead and a heater to the rock tote. The move went ok, but there was a ton of stuff I had to do those first few days including starting the new job so everything just stayed like that.

I actually almost sold everything I was so discouraged with everything. After a few days life calmed down and I had time to set the tank back up. This all happened three weeks ago (tank has been up for two of those) so far so good have not had any losses and things seem to be stabilizing I am giving it a few more week before I say it was a success, but here is the update on the tank.

and the new tank scape is lame by design less shading and better swim thrus for the fish, but doesn't look that good now hopefully it will look better as things grow out.

Tank looks great. I had to move a tank to a new house 7 miles away and it was a pain. I can't imagine how big of an ordeal it was to move a tank as far as you did.

Thank you. It helped that most of the corals could be removed from the rock, but yeah major pain.
