It's a roll of the dice. Most people seem to say dwarf Angels will "nip" at corals. In other words, not consume but pick at them looking for food. Some corals dont tolerate this and will die as a result. Seems like I see more accounts of trouble-free angels than trouble-makers.

My experience has been they nip more at SPS than anything else. I've never had an issue with flame angels and LPS or zoas/etc. But it's hit or miss as already mentioned. Just keep em well fed so they don't have a reason to go nipping!

I have had a Flame Angel in my 233 for a couple years and have a elegance coral and I have not seen the Flame even look at it.

My female flame completely destroyed my Elegance. The male never looked at it. Really depends on the individual.
