No that is not what he was saying. He means say you let your dog outside to pee of to play in the yard. A car comes and hits it. You can't control that it just like a fish if you give it the chance you can't control it unless you get the mesh. He says if your dog gets hit then you either stay with no dog or get another and fix the problem with a shock colar. So I will take my chance on the first and if he jumps I'll get another... I will get mesh when I have money but I might just let The fish grow in his tank and then we will put it in mine so it won't fit through the egg crate. I defenetly not in the wrong hobby I care for my fish but I don't have 40 bucks to spend on mesh.
