I just added one piece of life rock to my tank which is all live rock! Is that going to do any harm? Or should I take it out just worried about the bacteria on it.

I’ve added live and dry to a established tank many times. It won’t have any negative effects batería wise but make sure if it is real live rock that you are not adding any pests to the tank

I’ve added a bunch of the branched life rock (specifically branded dry rock) to my mature system. No issues at all. I tend to think the whole painted on bacteria is a crock. I bought it because the natural branched Tonga rock is hard to find now. The life rock does look nice though. Snaps easily too, so careful handling is required.
