I have about 5 cerith snails in my 30 gal. They recently layed a big squiggley line of eggs on the glass. Is there a chance they will hatch? Or should I just scrape them off. image.jpg

Do they require special care or are they just easy targets for fish?

Little bit of both easy targets and mechanical filtration/skimming will remove alot of them. Ive had some make it to adulthood but very few compared to the amount of eggs I see.

Mine lay eggs quite regularly and I have yet to see any babies. I would love if they do show up one day though. Also that is a long strand of eggs for ceriths did you actually see them lay the eggs? Do you have any other snails in the tank it could be?
