I was out of town for two weeks and my tank had a babysitter while I was gone. About half way through my trip I was told that my fiance couldn't find the clownfish and that she hadn't seen them in a few days. I have since returned and can't find them anywhere. This is a 180 gallon system, I have 2 small bubble tip anemone that the clowns previously hosted in. Besides that I have a cleaner shrimp 5 blue-green chromis and 3 tangs. The cleaner shrimp is about the only thing I can think of that may have consumed the carcasses? I have screen lids so it's very unlikely they escaped. I just find it strange that I can't even find a carcass of either fish.

Everything thing you mentioned will pick at and eat a dead fish. So will your clean up crew and bristle wormes. I doubt any one thing eat them unless it was your anemones.
The only body I ever found when a fish dies was my 14" sailing tang.
