will fire fish school together

i was wondering if you can house a group of 4-5 firefish together and if they would act like a little school or just group together in 2's.

I had 3 at one time and they all stayed together. Assuming they are the same kind?

How large is your aquarium?

Generally speaking a "group" will weed itself down to an established pair.

i have a 90g tank, i wanted to get the cheaper one of the fire fish

I have a purple and a red I got at different times and they stay on opposite sides of the tank.
