I've hade Amphidinium dino in my sand for a while now. havn't had the time to fix it in a lenghty slower way (in the process of building in my new house.) the tank will be moved to the new house in a couple of weeks and I'm wondring if anyone know if giving the sand RODI bath before reuseing it again will kill the Amphidinium dino in the sand?

Or should I just replace the sand while i'm at it because it will kill of the god bacteria in the sand anyways?..

a freshwater or tapwater rinse will kill the dinos and also the vast majority of bacteria in the sand. But you could keep the sand and not have to buy new.
