So I've been having some trouble with my sps lately and couldn't understand why. All my parameters are good. If I wasn't already bald I'd be pulling out my hair right now:sad:. I beat monti eating nudi's not long ago. I just found that I have red bugs and so picked up some interceptor. I was going to dose it tonight and was doing some research before I did just to be sure everything goes smoothly. Now it looks like I have AEFW:cry:. Its like someone dropped a pest bomb in my tank. What's really aggravating is that I always dip everything before it goes in my tank. So will interceptor kill all my pests or will I have to treat each differently? At least if I can beat these little ******s my sps should start looking good again. Thanks in advance for any help.

Interceptor might affect the already hatched but it will do nothing to the eggs......

A customer had the same problem and I recommended Revive coral dip and he was happy with it. I don't know if it kills the eggs.

I was planning to treat 3x over 3 weeks to kill all the red bugs that haven't hatched yet do you think AEFW have a similar life cycle?

I dip all my corals in revive before they go in the tank. Thats why I don't know how I got them in the first place.

Oh. I thought I read somewhere that they laid eggs. At first I saw the AEFW eggs and assumed they were red bug eggs. Thats how I figured out I have AEFW. Should I just treat it the 3x to kill the AEFW.

You can use several things to kill AEFW's in dips (including Revive) - do a search on them. Nothing will kill the eggs though... there must have been eggs somewhere on the coral. You have to manually remove them.
