Should I get a smaller clown out of my tank that is getting chased occasionally by a bigger clown? Can they learn to coexist the longer they live together?

Never seen it end until one is dead in my experience..I would move the small one!

What do you mean by occasionally? I think every fish in any of my tanks had been occasionally chased but that's a pretty vague description. Fish are territorial and clown fish establish dominance with a smaller and larger one it does better your chances but it just depends how bad it is...

There is definetly a smaller and a larger one in size with the difference being very noticeable...the bigger one is being very territorial with the smaller one, but I see the smaller one submit to the larger one sometimes.

If it's being chased constantly it's my experience that it won't stop until one is moved, sometimes one is very territorial and will kill smaller fish.

That sucks...I guess the bigger one just wants to be alone lol!
Some are like that and then again you can get one that's no problem I've had both. The worst Clown I had was a Maroon it didn't like any other fish.. He ended up with a 30 gal all his own..lol
