Will these sps come back?

Hi guys, I bought these sps and when they got delivered they looked like this:

Is there any chance they will bounce back? Thanks in advance!

IF they live they might look fine in 6 months.

I find larger pieces can take 3-6 months to colour up.

The one that looks bleached i doubt, but the other one should be ok.

I wouldn’t call that bleached, I’d call the bottom one dead.

Lower in the tank. Not high lighting.

I have had urchins pull out a broken piece of coral that was bleached from back behind the rocks and the coral came back. More than once. All it takes is one polyp to survive and to not get overrun with pest algae.
Trying to be an optimist here. Do an amino acid dip...

Lots of people are quick to say no.

If I see any florescents, like in Pic #2, there is a chance. Those tips are glowing green, it's only bleached right now. It might be hard, but it has been done. They are severely bleached for sure. Lower light, lots of flow, keep algae off. May need to snip, don't know yet so don't pick up the trimmers.

Is anyone looking at the picture I'm looking at?
I see green effluence glowing in the blue light. Why is it glowing? Zooxanthellae. Where there is zooxanthellae, there is life.
OP, it's your coral, choose life and try to save or throw it out and wonder if they could have been saved.
I see life.

If they are maricultured pieces than I don't give them much of a chance. It's my experience that I am better off buying aquacultured Acropora.

I left them both in the tank and haven’t changed anything as in no dips etc. Although the purple one is lacking a lot of colour it actually had a few polyps out this morning so I am being hopeful! Will grab a photo if they come out again.

If its anything like my experiance, they can take up to 6 months to come back fully.
Sometime they will completely brown out also, then start colouring up again from the base.

hey everyone, the purple acro has been having full polyp extension consistently for a while now and I’m wondering when I should raise it in the tank. It still hasn’t coloured back up yet. Should I leave it be or start to raise it? Thanks for the help everyone!

This is how much it has already started to colour back up! A lot faster than I expected! I have just cleaned the glass and its night time so I will try to get a photo with the polyp extension tomorrow!
