So I just set up a 90 gallon (upgrade from a 14 biocube) and was wondering if the lights I got could hold a monti once my tank is established. They’re Current Orbit Marine LEDs. Just wondering. The photo is where I would put it
How many watts is your light? Anyway, I don't think anyone can really guess, most LFS's rent out par meters, this would be the best way to know for sure. Some monti's don't need too much light
They aren’t too expensive, I’ll try one towards the top of the tank and see if it does well or not. They guy that gave me the light didn’t tell me how many watts or anything, he just said it could hold softies and LPS, maybe some easier SPS, but I’ll try it.
Just the return pump, but the guy that sold it to me said it was a pretty good amount of flow. I told him I mainly was going to put LPS in the tank, which obviously don’t need super heavy flow. But I’ll definitely get a small flow maker if I get a few SPS

Lighting is an important investment in this hobby if your goal is to keep sps corals like montipora.
Smatfarm, Popbloom, Nicrew, Vipraspectra are all brands that can support sps corals that don't require intense lighting.
If you're looking for higher end than AI, Reefbreeder, Radion...
Vendors like TSA or BRS are good resources.
