Hey guys,

So I'm finally upgrading my old oceanic biocube 29 to a nice rimless tank from either UNS (90p, 48 gallons) or Landen (90p, 55 gallons).

This is my first large rimless tank, so I'm a bit paranoid about the type of stand I should get.

I saw this one that really caught my attention and wanted to ask if it would work.
Thoughts?? Other suggestions??

I've never heard of different stand requirements for rimless tanks, if there are any.
It should stand. Make sure you have enough room for the equipment and filtration you need, and that the large compartment for your sump is on the correct side.

Ah, okay. So I should be good with this stand then?

Yup

I often see water damage occur on oversized stands becuase there's a surface for water to pool and sit (if not addressed right away). Will you be using external filtration?

I see no reason it shouldn't work.

Yes, I will be using external filtration. For what is worth, all my tanks get a thin, clear vinyl sheet on the top of each stand. Helps protect the wood and metal :)

Thanks for the replies guys :). My main worry about stands like these is just bowing in the middle, but none of the reviews on this particular stand complain about that at all. If y'all say I'm good to go, then I'll try it out 👍

Anyone else have opinions on this stand though?

With a middle set of legs, I doubt you would get any bowing in the middle.
Plus it's says it's rated for 1100 lbs.
