I just got a pm bullet 3 for $200, but it has no pump. I have an eheim compact plus 5000 that can do 1300 gph on 1" vinyl tubing, will that work? It runs my 90 gallon at less than half throttle no problem. Also, what is the best pump for a 90 gallon that uses 3/4" vinyl tubing and a 1" over flow drain? (under $100 if possible)

you can try a mag 7. i run 3/4" vinyl off mine. you may have to back it down a little with a 1" drain.

Thats what I was looking at, Iam running my eheim around 750 gph, at least I think so. Any ideas on the eheim for the skimmer?

Check out the quiet one 3000, I have had mine running for about 2 months without any hick ups. It was recommended to me from someone who had it over a year, and they also never had any issues. Look around online, I found mine for around $60.

I have a 4000 but I think that I threw it out, lol. The thing had to be hit with a hammer to restart.

I've actually heard really good things about the Poseidon pumps. If you're looking for a budget pump, Taam Rio+ pumps are inexpensive and have never let me down. Mag pumps are a little more costly, but hold up well over time...

The same seller said that the poseidon was broken, but he had a mag 18 for $70, and that is final (payed for) i want an external pump that lasts and has some pressure.
