Ive had saltwater tanks for a little over a year now with my wife. We pulled the trigger on the reefer 525! Please stay tuned for updates and pictures. Im sure I will have some questions along the way too.

You'll love these tanks! Always exciting seeing another 525 build! Im seeing lots of boxes... what're you going to use for lights? Im guessing whatevers in those brown boxes in the center of the stand... ;)

I am excited! You are correct the six brown boxes have the three Hydra 26HD and mounting kits.

Do you think three is going to be enough coverage? When I ran my Hydras I had them running front to back (if that makes sense) for even spread, but 3 units wasnt enough for a 5' tank - at least not without some heavy shadows. Still, it could work depending on how high up they are mounted. What kind of reef are you thinking?

I was thinking they would work.... Haha I was going to order a clear view lid because I was confident in the three Hydra 26's. I am planning on haveing some lps corals.
