I will be looking at purchasing a wireless camera so that I can view my display while away from home. I was thinking about purchasing another so that I can keep an eye on my sump from afar as well.

Do you use a camera to keep an eye on the heart of your system?

If so, what equipment are you using to accomplish it?

Do you have any recommendations, suggestions, objections, or other thoughts about this?

Thank you!

I do as i travel for 2-3 weeks a month and get to see my tank once in 2-3 weeks for a day or 2 .

I use wyze cam - 2 of them - One in my sump area and 1 infront of my tank .

Pretty inexpensive and quite a good connection wifi wise . Plus it can send notifications for any movement watched like a fly flying over my sump lol !!!

Regards,
Abhishek

You don’t need anything too fancy

Plenty of $40-50 1080P WiFi PZ cams on amazon. I personally have Dericam brand, but that’s because I use 2 others of the same brand as baby monitors.

Does the Wyze camera require any other equipment besides a phone or iPad? Their site talks about it working with Alexa but doesn’t say if it’s required.

Nope, you just plug it in and download the app to hook it up to wifi. I have 3 of them in the house. Super easy to use.

$20 - definitely reasonable, and 2 positive reply’s immediately. Gonna order a couple now. One for tank and one for the sump in the basement.

Just curious if anyone has hooked one up to display in the Apex Fusion home screen?
