I’m not sure if they are or if all the tanks at my local store are half off. My 75g was half off over a month ago and this 40 was as well.

Side one the top of the closet frame is on top of the wall frame. The 2x4 is stuck between the wall frame and ceiling plywood. The part I removed had no plywood on top of it.

Side two they extend the top of the wall frame to act as part of the closet frame. The bottom isn’t stuck but the top is nailed to plywood and it’s by a light. I need to cut a small amount off some how then I can drywall over it.

Sawzall, really carefully

I did start to try that. I went part way through then stopped because I was afraid of ripping a ton of wall up when I break through. I can’t get flat on it the way it is. I might have to take more drywall off.

Also thought about trying to get the nails out from the top but I would have to crawl to get to that spot and the insulation is deep.

I’ve got a Milwaukee one you could borrow. Idk where you are. Would need to grab a blade for it.

I do have 1 you could borrow, it would also need the blades but can be bought at Home Depot. I actually plan on going there tomorrow if you wanted to meet or I could drop it off.
