I converted my 5 gallon into a copepod breeder. I started by getting a small piece of live rock from a guy covered the tank and gave it a ton of light for a while to get some algea growing. Just added some CuC and copepods to the tank. I got some pod hotels that i planned on movingto my other tanks but saw these worms had moved in and not the podswhat are they and how to get rid of them

It's a bristle worm, a beneficial part of a clean up crew. They are.. rather unpopular because they are like a porcupine and their spines stick in you if you touch them.

They make traps you can use to get them, otherwise just manual removal is the way to go. There are a few different fish that will eat them.

Thank you, i thought thats what they might be. It would be cool to have a fish that likes to snack on them but didnt want fish that would potentially eat the pods. Maybe The traps would be good though
