Worms In My Tank

I found some white worms near my heater and return pump in my AIO tank. Does anyone know what type they are and if so, what do I need to do?

From my phone they looked like pineapple sponges too; but I really can't say for sure.
 
Looks like pineapple sponges to me, which are harmless filter feeders
