Would 2 mp40s make a sandstorm in my 120?

As of right now my 120 is bare bottom but I would really like to add sand soon, been bare bottom for years and getting tired of it. I'm planning on selling some of my powerheads and upgrading to 2 mp40s. I've been told they will kick up a lot of sand

I have 2 mp-40's in my 90 and use them on reef crest and just shy of full flow. No sand gets kicked around at all. I am using Tropic Eden reef flakes for sand. IMO you will be just fine.

IMO you will need 2 for your 120.
