Yes it is a 3/4, at least thats what the seller says!Lower seam clean? , is that 3/4", three quarter tank will have clean seams lol , and worth much more
Bottom seams look cleanYes it is a 3/4, at least thats what the seller says!
Euro brace is placed for structural support and the crack does not disturb me. You can use weldon but more effective is us of weldon 3 and place a piece of acrylic on top of bottom for structural repair of crack. Tank appears to be scratched up but can be buffed. Next concern would be to assure it holds water and does not bow which may have caused crack?
Exactly, thats the gamble I would take with the tank. Wondering if the gamble is worth it, guy wants 500 for it, stand and allEuro brace is placed for structural support and the crack does not disturb me. No gamble is worth it with that amount of water, IMO.Exactly, thats the gamble I would take with the tank. Wondering if the gamble is worth it, guy wants 500 for it, stand and all
500 Fair, not a deal. Steel stand hopefully or at least wood in good shapeExactly, thats the gamble I would take with the tank. Wondering if the gamble is worth it, guy wants 500 for it, stand and all
Ah okay thats more what I was worried about with how many gallons it is! Ill probably get it, I was just nervous about the integrity. Guy says it doesnt compromise it but he is also trying to sell it loli'd grab it in a minute, acrylic easy to repair,as said above...
Its wood. Does appear basic, I would probably do some work with the stand and add more bracing500 Fair, not a deal. Steel stand hopefully or at least wood in good shape
So if it is seam stress, does that put the whole tank at risk even with a repair? I really dont want 240 gallons of water on my floor! Lolit looks like some seam stress from photo 3/4" tanks can be damaged its not impossible, don't believe unless you see it
Ah okay that lines up with what he said he ran the tank with, just never know if a seller is BSing you!If its a Standard 240 should not be toast , yes the acrylic may have split on its own imo and the tank was run that way for years
Yes overflow. Im not sure how high it is without measuring itHow high up is the intake?, If it's an overflow tank?
