Would you put this coral in your tank?

I just received this Torch from salty bottom reef. It arrived looking pretty rough but has puffed up and improved during temperature acclimation. The tissue is very withdrawn from the skeleton.

I’m worried if I try and nurse it back to health I may inadvertently bring BJD or something into my display (I have other torches and euphyllia). It was only 55 bucks, I added it to the cart to hit the minimum so it’s not a big deal. Should I toss it? I hit it with a 30 mins KFC dip but am wary of this one.

Torches can get a little irritated during shipping. This isn't abnormal. IMO, the shipped should have done a better job securing it so the skeleton/flesh wasn't rubbing on the bag the whole time. That said, it will heal and be back to normal in no time. I'd add it to my tank in a heartbeat.

I wouldn't toss it. It doesn't look that bad to me, just stressed.

I wouldn't. Because it would be going in my invert quarantine tank.

On the other hand it looks like a normal ticked off euphelia.
