I don't want to make such recommendations for others, but I recently took my old Oceanic 120 gallon that had been sitting in the garage for 10 years (temps ranging from below zero F to over 100 F in the garage) and used it for my new tank. It still seems built like a tank.

Im looking at replacing my oceanic tank with a waterbox 130.4. Oceanic tanks are solid and im having a hard time doing it lol. Randy think it would be a bad idea ?

Wouldn't even be a thought for me. I'd definitely use it.

What do the seams look like? Is the silicone smooth and still elastic feeling? If you poke it with a finger nail does it immediately bounce back or does your nail leave an indent mark in the silicone?

I'd also ask about how it was stored and if it was stored on a level surface. Take a small framing square and check to see if the outside corners are all square.

I got an older marineland tank that was kept inside for an extended period. Never set up, and it is good as they get.
