Evening from the UK,

I have a yellow coris wrasse that has developed a wound on his side. Please see photos attached. Anyone know what this could be please?

Do you see anything on the other side of the fish?

If an injury, an antibiotic such as marycin or kanamycn would be in order to help prevent infection. If anything is showing on the other side, I would be concerned about uronema. How long have you had the wrasse?

Could be Uronema as yellow coris are prone to this disease.

No nothing on the other side. I've had him about 9 months and he's always been well and eating well too.

Can I use these medications in a reef tank? I'll need to look them up as I'm in the UK, but thank you for the advice.
