What would be a good wrasse option for my tank? Its a 30g cube that will have a lot of open space, a gold assessor and green mandarin. The only wrasse that I know I don't want is a six-line because I hear they can be a nightmare. Thanks!

With the 30g size and having a Mandarin already would not add any of the substrate hunting Wrasses of any family. You would be fine with a more docile Fairy or Flasher Wrasse though as long as DT is covered well. If the Mandarin is target fed and willing to eat Mysis a Yellow Coris may be doable.

Cheers, Todd

Thanks! I wanted to add a Fairy or Flasher, so that works

The wrasses that would do best in that sized tank would be possum wrasses and pink streaked wrasses, but these are cryptic and would compete with the mandarin for pods.

While flasher and fairy wrasses wont compete for pods, but are pretty active and a 30g is a little small for these guys.

Sad face, maybe I will just skip having a wrasse for now.
