I purchased this wrasse from my LFS and it was listed as an Exquisite Wrasse but I can’t find a picture on the web that looks anything like it. If someone can confirm or denie I am curious to know.
Thanks in advance,
Dwight

Looks like Cirrhilabrus scottorum. Definitely not C. exquisitus, as it's missing the ocellus (eye spot) on the caudal penduncle. Do you have other wrasses in the tank? C. scottorum can be aggressive.

Not scottorum, it's Cirrhilabrus melanomarginatus, a close relative to both the scottorum and exquisitus. It's not nearly as aggressive as scottorum.
