I’m looking for a wrasse of some sorts to pair with my Melanuris wrasse. Looking for one that will be peaceful with I️t but also doesn’t get too large.

What size tank and how long have you had the melanurus? Fairy and flasher wrasses should be fine. Usually other sand burying species are fine more often than not, but some specimens can be bossy.

50 gallon and I’ve had him for about a year. Had a really old yellow corris in there with him but he died recently

I would avoid any sand burying wrasses then. Use a social acclimation box to introduce any wrasses.
