Thanks for following and congratulations on an upgrade.following this one for sure.
buying a used/starting up a 220 hopefully in mid january that will be wrasse focused!
Thanks for the follow. So many to love but not enough space lolFollowing for sure! Love me some wrasses.
Merry Christmas my friend. New tanks are exciting but I can’t wait until everything is moved over and I only have one tank.Merry Christmas Crabby, nice new tank. Following along.
Yes 2 cor20. One for each return. Knowing dc pumps hate head pressure I figured it was best to have two plus then if I loose a pump at least one will circulate water to keep tank warm.I would assume your going to run 2 return pumps? Least thats what it looks like in the pictures.
Yes reducer is slip/slip. Reducer is 1 1/4”the same as pipe and 3/4” size of connector. Slide reducer in 1 1/4” elbow and a short 3/4” pipe in the reducer. Your bulk head will need to be slip on the outside also.so the reducer setup on the returns is slip/slip fit? im also trying to figure out how i want to go 1.25 down to 0.75.

Congratulations on the new build!Following along! I'm building a 72x30x24 tank atm with a focus in lots of wrasses as well. I'm curious about your thoughts on con-species issues from the picks you made (e.g. multiple Cirrhilabrus). Not trying to wrasse police, I'm new to them myself, just wanted to hear your experiences.
Congratulations on the new build!
Mixing different Cirrhilabrus is ok. Some are more aggressive then others and that you want to be careful mixing. I think it’s best adding multiple when adding to established wrasse
Keep them fat and plenty of small homes for happy wrasse.
Start a build thread for us to follow your journey
I will have to reed the link you sent. Some great people in this thread so you can drool over wrasse or ask questions to. https://www.reef2reef.com/threads/the-wrasse-lovers-thread.113942/Fair enough. I've primarily used TheWrasseGuy as a resource for learning about what I can keep together and what I can't. Pretty solid resource: https://www.thewrasseguy.com/all-about-reef-safe-wrasses
I actually just started a build thread yesterday, but it's boring as hell because my tank isn't even here yet LOL. It arrived Monday next week, so I'm pretty excited. https://www.reef2reef.com/threads/h...ef-lx-270-6-sps-dominant.881307/#post-9727343
