WTB Looking for Coral/Store's

Hello,
For New Years I'll be visiting ft Lauderdale Florida, I live in Michigan and prices for basic things are astronomical. Could anyone recommend stores to me worth visiting or if you are a reefer yourself I don't mind supporting my local hobbyists! (I really want a nice collection of ricordea Florida)

I will let someone else comment on local Lauderdale spots as I am a little farther North and don't venture that far often.

However, I would temper your expectations as far as prices go. Whatever price relief you get from better access to coral is equally if not more than offset by the sky high cost of living and doing business in S. Florida. I would say average cost of coral went up when I moved from Atlanta to S. Florida. Only benefit perhaps is cheaper shipping for most in-state vendors (for which there are many) and being able to go in person to some places like TSA and WWC.

Local reefers are the best way to go, but I wouldn't say market prices down here are particularly cheaper than other parts of the country I have lived in.
