i have a Aquactinics 72 inch Classic Combo 3x250 MH ,4xT-5 39 watt bulbs
the MH bulbs are 14 K Hammys (less that 2 months burn on them) for real , no BS on the bulbs , the T-5 are D&D and have 7 months burn on them.
3 swith ballast 1=T-5's, 1=center MH, 1=both end MH
this fixture is made to sit right on top of your tank with VERY little heat gain
and i replced the plastic bulb sheild with a brand new tempered glass cover.
you can touch the glass when it running ,, it runs cool as heck.
I looking for a 72 inch Constellation T-5 fixture or something as good for my 200 tank , i had this fixture before and kick myslef in the butt for getting rid of it for MH ... i love MH and this fixture that i have kicks major butt , but i like the color adjustents with T-5's and had just as good growth if not better on some of my corals
Im in Northern Ohio and will meet half way within reason ...
