We are starting a new, monthly series on our Youtube channel of answering questions from the reefing community. Are you new to the hobby and overwhelmed by how much information is out there? Are you a lifetime reefer that wants to know more about the World Wide Corals way? From aquascaping to aquaculture and beyond, we are here to answer the burning questions you have!

You can ask your questions in this thread or in our community post on our Youtube channel. We will be randomly selecting questions and any unanswered questions will still be considered for future episodes. The cut off point for Episode 1 is January 1st.

Ive been to your store and seen your massive coral farms and its absolutely mind blowing. My question is how do you deal with problems in your large coral vats? For example, say you have a brown jelly disease outbreak in a system with euphyllia, whats your process for diagnosing and fixing the issue to save the rest of the corals? Do you even ever have issues in your big systems, and if not what do you think is your largest contributor to avoiding these issues?

I’ve heard a large secret to your success is well cured live rock. There are a few reputable sources of live rock online and where I live in Maine not a lot of store fronts. Where do you source your live rock? How do you rid it of pests you don’t want? Do you dry scape your aquascapes first? The recent ReefBuilders YouTube episode has amazing shots of your aquascapes. Just gorgeous aquariums.
