I understand that WWC is a business and they’re in the business to make money but naming a coral “hunker down and hurricane Ian Acro” seems a bit tasteless. There was so much destruction in central and west Florida….

Considering they’re in Orlando and many people lost everything they own and people also were killed.

Just my opinion. WWC has such a voice in the hobby and they choose to do something like this…

sad

@WWC

edit: mods will see this change the or to of please in the title.

Idk, as a Floridian - it feels very on track for Florida in general.
Who Knows Idk GIF

I mean, have you never seen the Publix hurricane cakes?
This, right here... It's very on-brand for Floridians to make light of hurricanes... My FB timeline right now is a stream of Hurricane Party, Work Ditching, and Weatherman memes. I guess some people just don't have a sense of humor...

Yea but it was like 5% of their proceeds from that "sale"
5% is better than nothing, talk about an entitled statement...

I think it was gauche

the level of destruction across the sate and hardship it caused to millions of their citizens and 1000's of reefers, they could have donated the sales profits to recovery efforts and I don't think this would have been an issue

Point is there are lots (and lots) of alternate vendors (and a pretty good one in their same city), and people can vote with their next orders

Also I will add that if you have vendor feedback leave it in the appropriate forum the appropriate way.
