Will post a pic when lights ramp up. I feel like my wwc yellow tips appears lighter and lighter when I look at the coral with lights off.
Some quick lighting specs, orphek v4 15 inches above water line as well as one blue or3 bar. Photoperiod is as follows:
0900 orphek light on, channels 1-4 1%
1030 blue and uv channels 85%. White 25% and red channel 50%
Noon to 1700 blue and uv are 100% with strong clouds, whites and reds unchanged at 25 and 50
1830 ramps back down to 85% blues and uvs. Same settings whites and reds
All channels ramp down to off at 2100
1300 to 2100 or3 bar is on.
Neighboring fruity pebbles monti is doing fantastic. Wwc yellow tips has actually never grown. Seems lighter and lighter.
Unreasonable with one to do so well and the other not? I'm wondering if the lighting is still too intense. Was told not to chase par with this light. Both these corals on rock about 10 inches below surface.
