hey

my tank is about 15 ft vertically(pump up) above my water change station and about from floor to sump 22ft in total (from Mixingstation to Sump)

https://bulkreefsupply.com/x2sr-auto-water-change-pump-kamoer.html

will this do the Job?

Wasteline would be about 25ft but down.

the rated pressure is a headheight of 32ft.

But I remember using the Neptune and it barely could make it halfway up of the 15 verticle ft

Maybe. I know the DOS would have no problem.

25' vertical = +25
10' horizontal = +1
90° bend = +1
i guess both my doses must be old. because when I tried it couldn't do it. the water would get half way up vertically and just stop

Ive spoken to both BRS and SaltwaterAquarium.Neither of them could answer the 15 verticle ft! so if anyone has some experience that would be appreciated.

I have the X2sr. I go up a floor (12-15ft) and probably 30ft horizontal and this has no problem. I have modified to 1/4" tubing to make the run easier. This setup speed measures is about 400ml/min so about 10min to push/pull a gallon.

I’m thinking of getting this setup and putting it in the basement by my mixing station, my rise is about 15’ but it’s about 50’ away from the mixing station. Do you think it will work.
Also, do you drain the water from the system at the sump and also have the fill in the sump that way you can leave it up all the time?
