XF230 Controller APEX ready?

Does anyone know if the new controllers of the XF series and 3K Gyre pumps are APEX ready or do you still need the additional module?

I don't know about the 250 & 280, with the 230 a module is needed. I thought I read somewhere that you can buy just the pump and the module. You would still need to put a power supply for the pump if going that route. Maybe someone else can clarify?
