XR15 or Red Sea Reef Led

So I'm going to be ordering a Reefer 350 at the end of the month and I was originally going to order 2 XR15s for it. Last night I came across a thread about the new Red Sea LEDs coming out in May. I'm wondering if I should wait for the Red Sea lights or just get the XR15s. I need some opinions and I'm not in a rush to set my tank up so I don't mind waiting.

I'm planning on having a mixed reef setup and I dont see any SPS in the near future.

I’d give the red seas a shot then, they look like they will be pretty good! The par at the bottom of the tank is 115 I think I saw on the red seas, which is perfect for lps, zoas, even easy sps like Montis should do good with that light. With a hybrid acros would easily be possible to, possibly without, we will see! Be a guinea pig for us! Lol

I am in the same boat. Looking at two XR15s, Hydra 26, 360x or Red Sea 90s. Red Sea looks like a nice blend of Hydras and Kessil's so really want to give them a try. Just wish they would give an official date already. LFS says they can't pre-order them yet, but the response I got from Red Sea on FB was they will be out well before the end of May. Which to me would mean right now :)

I just purchased a 250 last month (without lights) and was curious about Red Sea's new offering. Right now I have 3 AI Prime's, but once reviews start coming through for the Reefer lights I may switch.

I saw today that Saltwateraquarium.com has pre-orders open for Red Sea's new "Deluxe" kits that come with their new lights and mounts.

Red Sea also has a small discount on the lights/mounts through their "MyReefer Wizard" (I got an e-mail about it).

Sounds like the new deluxe setups are already shipping with the reefspec led included. Provided your tank is not coming from a warehouse that still has old deluxe models with the AI lights.
