Xr15w mount safe to be like this?

I have the mount on the overflow. The neck is metal... It gets wet... Is it safe to leave it like that?

I wouldn't.

The part in the back (the large curved bit the light actually mounts to) is aluminum and will corrode.

The overflow itself doesn't have a whole lot of strength for cantilevered things.
