I have a pair of clownfish, with one being bigger than the other, I do see the smaller one having nipped fins from time to time but its nothing extreme. I did see that my lfs will have a pistol/yasha goby pair in stock but not sure if its a good idea to keep them in the same tank, its a 20G AIO red sea and has been running for a long time. i thought it would be a good idea since the pistol and goby will be on the bottom portion of the tank hidden from the open water clowns but again, not sure if its a good idea to keep them in the same tank. I dont see anything online about it so im not sure.

Sounds risky to me if the clown is already aggressive. What kind of clowns?
ones a regular occeslaris, he is much smaller while the other is a frostbite clown but the bigger one is more aggressive when im around to feed them

did you go for it? I am curious about this too.
Nope not yet, sadly it didn’t make it when I came in to pick it up, I’m planning on upgrading and plan on stocking it with both again. I’ll come back and tell you how it goes when I do

My semi aggressive female clown paid no attention to the yasha, just the firefish and fairy wrasse. Maybe that would be different if it was only the clowns and yasha, but I think the yasha stands a good chance since they hang out in caves.
