hi everyone,

I added a yellow coris wrasse to my tank last night to help deal with a planaria problem. He was swimming all around the tank last night, and i guess I missed when he went into the sand. I cannot find him anywhere. anyone know how long until he comes out from the sand?

Mine took several days before I saw him again after he was added. I wouldn't be surprised or worried honestly until you're around 5+ days with no sightings. But even then I wouldn't worry to much, once they get acclimated they'll be out and about all the time. Just a bit of a nervous fish at first, he'll come around!

Yes, initially mine spent more time in the sand at first but over about a week it was out most of the time the lights were on but it is always first to go to bed.

What's the update. Thier biological clocks are strong and it takes them a while to adjust. Look for it soon after lighs
