I have a well established Fluval evo 13.5 gallons with two very small clowns. I was thinking of adding a yellow headed jawfish. Would it be ok?

I’ve got plenty of sand and would add some crushed coral pieces too. I have a bta that the clowns sleep in.

I'd lean towards no.
My reasoning:
Yellow headed jawfish can hit 4". I usually see them at about 3" in captivity but it's still a decent sized fish.
They are also somewhat territorial in protection of their burrow and I don't know if a 13.5 gallon has enough room for both the jawfish to guard the burrow and the clowns to guard the anemone.

It just feels a bit too small for the risk.

Also, you may want to add some crushed coral anyways, my clowns play with crushed coral a lot.

Fair enough thanks for the replies. I’ll just have to wait for the clowns to grow. They’re only about 3cm at the moment which makes the tank look empty apart from the corals.
