My yellow tann just stopped eating...No visible signs on it's body...no labored breathing...no erratic movements...just will not eat. It has been almost two weeks it has been behaving this way...just swims around the tank. I have been feeding Nori and a mix of frozen foods. All of the other fish eat like there will never be another feeding. I have had this fish for about 4 years and this is the first time I have seen this behavior. It has always been a active feeder...Any ideas?

Do you have a lot of algae in your tank?
Actually I do not...I had the same thought that it might be grazing and filling on that, but I observed it for several hours and it did not appear to be grazing. It used to chase the tank scraper around as I was cleaning the glass and scarf up the algae that was scraped from the glass....but not any more...It appears to be interested in eating but does not do so...I have read that Garlic can entice a fish to eat. I will give that a try and see if there is any success.

I hope someone has a good answer for you. Try the garlic. I tried rods (I think? It was a long while ago) frozen food and that had garlic in it. I mixed that with selcon and my fish liked it.
