Just got a yellow tang currently feeding a quarter sheet of nori, formula 2 pellets, and brine shrimp. Is there anything else to add to ensure that he remains healthy, grows, and his pigment comes in?

If he’s a little guy that should be good for awhile. Switch to mysis when you can brine has very little nutritional value. Maybe soak some of those formula two pellets with selcon or another vitamin supplement periodically. Congrats on the new fish!

I got mine pretty small 2 months ago, and he is 3-4x the size now. Took awhile to transition to more, but now they love it. It had that weird transucent look to it for the first 6 weeks (especially in the AM when lights were off/low). The last 2-3 weeks, its colors really came in.
