Yellow watch man goby

I got a yellow watchman goby from the store yesterday. I acclimated him as the fish store directed and he was swimming around fine yesterday. This morning I came to turn the lights on and found him dead. The pistol shrimp that I also got is alive. I just don’t understand how he could have died or what could have been wrong.

Awww, I'm sorry. There could be a lot of different factors that could have contributed. How old is the tank? parameters, etc.

The tank is about 8 months old
