For the past two days my yellow watchman goby has not left the white back of the cord holder from my mp40. It alternates between ends of the tank. It is paired with a pistol shrimp so I have no clue where this weird behavior came from. Any ideas?

Mine did the same thing. He ended up dying of an internal parasite. Got real skinny, stringy poo and eventually wouldn't eat. He used to hang in burrow with pistol everyday and then started swimming up top and hanging in corners. Not saying you have same issue. But that's how it went for me. I treated him too late :(

Do you have serpent or brittle stars? Or any other burrowing fish. Sometimes they can get scared or bullied. Usually being pr with a shrimp prevents this, but not always. Since he got seperated from the shrimp he may feel more vulnerable.
