I was just wondering if anyone knew why my little watchman goby no longer is yellow. Has this ever happened to any you've seen?

Not sure why it happens but sometimes when my lfs gets them shipped to their location they arrive looking similar to what you have and then slowly gain back color... maybe due to nutrition??

I wonder how Impossible it would get them to breed considering she has a shrimp buddy, also adding another one would be interesting I would definitely get a little male. Do you think they could grow in a community tank? Do any fish spawn others in community tanks?

It would be near impossible to raise the young for a hobbyist.

Bangaii cardinals will sometimes have raisable young.

Mine did the same color change as yours. Bright yellow when I got it & now looks like the tan one.
