YET ANOTHER BAD aquatraders.com deal!!!

First of all I gotta start w/ utter shame and the humility it took for me to even right this thread... I bought a 24" aquatraders 346w MH/4xT5 light fixture... w/ complete expectations of it not making it a year... purchased this on Aug. 30th of 2012... here it is Nov. 23rd of 2012 and one of my t5 ballast went out and it has been bout a lil over a week that its been out... I was TOOOOTALLY dreading calling them... but I finally broke down and called even tho I have heard prolly how the outcome was gonna go... they give me the response of "we only warranty our fixture the first 30 days"... and then when you get upset they place you on hold and NEVER COME BACK TO THE PHONE!!! I really don't know why I ever did business w/ this company... Its not like this is my first time I had this encounter w/ them... I was ATLEAST hoping to make it a 1yr... man, this is like a kick in the nuts! get jerked over by them once ok... but I thought mayb if i lower my expectations of them i won't be sooooo disappointed... I never would've thought not even 3 months and then have them not even send me a $10 ballast... COME'ON!!!

so, this is my attempt... to just get off my chest and vent not expecting anything to get better... I'll prolly go out to my local electrical shop or menards/lowes and pick up a new ballast... SIGH!!!:cry:

That's odd. I have a couple of aqua traders T5 fixtures that have been working for more than 2 years. One was Going on 5 years before I broke my tank down it was over. Sorry you have had bad luck with them.

Why did you buy the fixture in the first place then? Sounds like you knew the end result before you spent the money.
No point in spending money on crap when you'll just have to turn around and spend even more money to replace the crap down the road.

I know! that is why this is sooooo hard of a post to make.... blackx-runner hows your mp 40s treating you? I am gonna be getting the radion pro in March when they are gonna be shipping out... man, I feel like a Idiot!!
